Haha yes, wasn't it?

Thought I had it figured out but I don't. The 4 screws that I thought were holding it together have been removed and I still can't get it apart.

Haha, I was just about there Charles. FYI, you need to remove the nameplate/decal on both ends of the unit. Under those are an additional 4 screws (2 per side).

Kelly Google is your friend. :B:

I just typed in "how to take apart letralite" and the first thing that came up wast this.

Disassembling the Letralite™ Exposure Unit: Disassemble the Letralite™ unit by unplugging and removing the end caps and bulb. Remove the two (2) screws from right and left sides of the unit. Remove the two (2) end identification stickers and find four (4) small screws. Remove only one (1) screw for the top and the corresponding screw on the bottom. Do the same to the other side and you will be able to separate the Letralite™ into two halves.

There may even be a video some place but I didn't look.

That's what happens when your fingers get cold..HEHEHEHE

I did Google it Terry, all that came up for me were user manuals. Trust me, I searched and searched, perhaps I didn't ask the correct question, I don't know. Google is my first go to for everything!
