Vacation

Postby Charles » August 24th, 2010, 7:43 am

Well I find myself in Detroit, my wife has a union convention here, we got here Sunday, got in actually 1:00am monday am after being stuck in St. Louis for a while, the plane we were flying on blew a circuit breaker and we waited on um to fix it, seems they had to fly the new one in from Chicago....
Anyhow was worn out yesterday, but did walk about some, seems Hart park on the city front on the river...well it is finished in AMerican Boquet granite, of course the cobble stones, steps, are all sawn pieces, there is about 200 ft of polished walla next to the detroit river capped with what looks like Academy Black granite, all in all about 1/2 acre covered in granite!
Cute little electric train coverning some of down town, costs 4 bits to ride. Gonna see about baseball tickets today, checked out greektown last night.
Staying in the marriott across the road form the glass GM building , can see Canada easily from the motel room window. And yes brought along the laptop to do some layout and design work in the time I dont have anything to do LMAO.

SO I guess I need to get to actual work for a mionute or 2...and high today at home 96deg, here 76 deg. ! Love it

Sorry Kelly, couldn't help it. You set it up so well, I just couldn't let it go to waste. ;)
