Epilog laser

Postby gemsbym » August 5th, 2010, 5:27 am

Hi,

I was looking into getting a laser and I was wondering who has a laser, what type and why did you select the one you have? Thanks.

I believe David Takes would be the one to ask.

I own a Epilog Helix 24 Laser. It has the 24x18 cutting area, 60 Watt. Wanted the Rotary attachment and the Mini (at the time didn't come with one).

Wattage....well they upgraded me for free.....but when it arrived, it was a 60 watt (apparently it was a multiple upgrade).

Hi Miriam,

I've owned two Epilog lasers during the past ten years. I initially went with in 1999 because Epilog came with a three year bumper to bumper warranty. I never really needed it, in hindsight, because I never had to use it. I sold my first laser about 4 years ago and purchased a Epilog Helix 75 watt system. I have never had a problem with that system either. Epilog customer service is top notch. The technicians are extremely professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Epilog. Their equipment and customer service is excellent.

I am sure that individuals owning other models of lasers will also chime in about their experiences with their particular laser. I hope tis tidbit of information helps you in making your decision.

I've been looking at them also. It's amazing the detail they can get on the wood calender sample they sent me.

One day
