Wasnt pretty the unloading job, the truck drivers hook however what ever you are using to unload in the truck bed, in this case I use my over head crane chain hoist and nylon straps, he managed to hook a 3-6 all polish american black die and the strap came off....he had the doubled sewn part under the bottom, and it will always slip off, fell from abt 3.5 ft, ruined the die, the suppliers loss, my loss cause I need the material...Good part is I wasnt under it, always wear long pants in the shop, my shop rule, the granite hit the concrete floor, granite and small pieces of cement flew 50ft , some on my jeans legs, I always walk with a hand on the load so I was that close, but I felt the sling slip before I saw it so I wasnt under it, AND I always work like it is fixing to fall so all is well from my end.
O well life rolls on.

Lucky you for not trying to catch it! I have a standard rule here .... if its going to slip ... let it go!
