Inkjet printers and transparency film

Postby Jim McDaniel » June 18th, 2014, 3:25 pm

I have been using 3M transparency film CG3480 and all has been well until now. I seems that it is being discontinued. So what dose everybody else use and where to find? I am out but for a few smaller pieces. The two main stores around here are Office Depot and Staples. They don't seem to be much help. I tried searching the site here but came up empty. Oh i use an Epson stylus photo 1400 printer.

Thanks for your help

Jim-
I got forced into trying Apollo (Office Depot) Ink Jet film. So far, so good- About 10 transparencies with no probs, using an Epson xp-610.

Jim I had that issue about 6-8 months ago. The local stores stopped carrying it so I went to e bay. Found it much cheaper as well. Not sure how long that option will last but for now it's good. Also most any screen print supply house should have something that will work for you. I also have an epson 1400 and a new 1430.

Will update when i get it and try it out. They also have film for all out type printers also

Looked at the link. No good. So I checked it out and it's .net not .com.

Here is the new link

Update on new transparency. So far it has worked with no problem. If something changes will come back with a follow up post.
