What paint to use for barware?

Postby CrystalSwanEtchings » April 9th, 2013, 5:12 am

I need to paint a logo blue on 60 beer mugs. I was wondering what kind of paint I should use. I have one shot paints and some glass enamel blue but not sure if I should use it on glass that people will be drinking out of. I have used rub n buff in the past but my client is looking for a dark navy blue and I have never been able to achieve dark colors with rub n buff. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I don't want to make anyone sick using a paint I shouldn't be.
Thanks all!

I'm sure it will work on glass. Yes you'll have to bake Pebeo to cure it.
