Idea for New Years

Postby randypitcher » December 14th, 2012, 12:23 pm

Something that I saw on a Facebook post inspired this idea.

Goal Jars or Resolution Jars. These would be apothecary jars with the person's goal or resolution etched on them. You could also use Mason jars.

I've sold a couple of apothecary jars that say "Tattoo Fund" on them.

Started researching, studying and reading in February 2010. First piece etched on March 11, 2011

Great idea! Something else I saw recently, every time something good or memorable happens, or even a laugh you write it down and put it in a memory jar. At the end of the year the notes are removed and read, a reminder of all the good things that happened throughout the year.

You could adapt this idea for just about anything. I could etch my granddaughter's name on a jar, supply a pencil and small notepad so when she does or says something cute, my daughter could jot it down and put it in the jar. It would make a unique baby shower gift. Thanks for sharing! (I'm still stunned with the possibilites of sandcarved products! There must be zillions.)
